The Demon Child

What?

Monkey child exhibiting deviant behaviour such as daydreaming, independent thought, and an aversion to being forced to sit still and be quiet for five hours a day.

Who?

The kid you don't let your kid play with.

When?

When the Ritalin has worn off but the Zopiclone hasn't kicked in yet.

Where?

Learning effective social skills by being kept away from the other kids as much as possible.

How?

One teacher, thirty kids.

Why?

Thanks to the financial demands of patriotic expressions of our Hunter-Gatherer instincts such as competitive sports and international warfare, lower priority institutions such as education and childcare must run on a tight budget. Without the resources to accommodate young monkeys individually, those unable to suppress their Hunter-Gatherer nature are punished, threatened, and isolated, resulting in further deviant behaviour and an inability to socialise effectively and find a role within the tribal blueprint.
