Frames of Mind is one part of a series of works that explore the feelings surrounding sexual abuse. A glass magnolia flower represents both a piece of myself that has been stolen, as well as the pain, fury and confusion that assault brings, which, in some cases, can be released.

Reflected visions play dead until understood

Mirages relay thoughts and godhead illusions

Passageways between cracked minds vanish overhead

Alleyways open up from hidden riverbeds

Mystical leeway still looks ahead regardless

Refracted pictures stay said without realising
